Iyengar Yoga is a dynamic, physical and rejuvenating practice.  It is suited to all ages and fitness levels, making yoga accessible to all bodies at all stages of life. There is an emphasis on precision and alignment in all poses and the appropriate use of props and sequencing, with teachers monitoring students and making adjustments.


GENERAL YOGA

General yoga is perfect for students of all levels of experience. Practice may include inversions, backbends and pranayama; however variations of poses will be offered to suit every student.


GENTLE YOGA

1 hour

Is of benefit to those with restricted movement either from injury or age as the class is taught at a slower pace. The class will utilise the support of props to assist with balance and technique.


YOGA FOR MEN

1 hour

Focused on specific problem areas for men’s flexibility and strength. Previously only offered on Mondays, Yoga for Men is so popular we’ve opened up a second class every Thursday, offering a comfortable and non-competitive environment for men of all levels of experience.


YOGA FOR ATHLETES

1 hour

Catering to the specific needs of sportspeople, with an emphasis on the flexibility requirements for runners, riders, swimmers and paddlers.


RESTORATIVE

1 hour

Opens the body through passive poses held for longer periods of time. Props are used to support the body so that your muscles get to rest which allows for deep relaxation. The benefits are many, but it is particularly soothing for the nervous system.


PRIVATE SESSION

1 hour

Private sessions (singular or group) can be arranged upon request, with one-off and ongoing availability depending on your needs. In a private session, we’ll take into account your individual goals & needs, address injuries or illness, help to build strength, increase flexibility and find your inner peace.
